How many licenses do I need to buy?

Xamarin is licensed on a per-developer basis. One license is needed for each developer who is contributing code to an app. Licenses are assigned to a named user and are not per-workstation.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Which Premium Components are included in the Enterprise package?

SQLCipher, Signature Pad, Lock Screen, Black Leather Theme, Brown Leather Theme, and Industrial Theme.

Do you offer student or academic pricing?

Yes we do. We require proof of status as a student, instructor, or academic institution to qualify for academic pricing. Details can be found here.

Can I continue to use Xamarin when my subscription expires?

Yes you can. Your Xamarin license is perpetual. If you choose not to renew your subscription, you will no longer have access to new releases and support, and we will be very sad.

How do the licenses work?

Your license is tied to your Xamarin account. Log into your IDE — either Xamarin Studio or Visual Studio — to use your Xamarin license.
