Anaconda Free plan gives you access to our cloud-hosted and locally distributed Python packages. The cloud distribution is preconfigured in Notebooks, where you get 100MB of storage and access to high compute for your data science and machine learning projects. Not sure how to get started? Anaconda cloud-hosted offerings are made available through Anaconda’s multi-tenant cloud. This option is best for organizations that want to minimize implementation and maintenance burden, and do not require on-premises (on-prem) installation or self-hosting.

If you’re part of a team at an organization that’s using Python and cloud infrastructure, has advanced security compliance requirements, and needs governance (e.g., user access control) capabilities, our Business plan is likely a good choice. Both plans enable governance and security compliance for your users through our Package Security Manager. The primary difference is that our on-prem plan comes with a dedicated artifact repository that can be installed on your infrastructure/in your private cloud. Alternatively, our cloud plan does not require any installation or implementation, since all packages and security capabilities are hosted in our multi-tenant cloud.

Our on-prem plans have several implementations available: on premises, private cloud, air gapped, and managed service (single-tenant cloud).
